SHOWROOM SALES

The Showroom Sales position serves as a “design consultant” assisting homeowners, builders and designers in selecting the tile products that will achieve their design and durability objectives. You will be responsible for using your design skills and product knowledge to educate the customer so that they make satisfying product selections to promote the best buying experience available. Product training is provided on the job.

Base Salary plus commission 

EXPECTATIONS: 

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude of cooperation and respect; ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Develop, maintain and grow client relationships
  • Actively promote the Company’s products and uphold the Company’s margin philosophies
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to provide proactive solutions to customers’ needs, after actively listening to customer’s needs
  • Look for new business opportunities and follow up on leads
  • Excellent communication with customers including; providing accurate information, skillful negotiations, timely follow up and/or problem resolution and ability to close the sale
  • Assist to make the showroom and products visually exciting
  • Demonstrate the ability to sketch ideas on paperand figure simple construction measurements (square footage, linear footage, etc)
  • Light cleaning of showroom and products
  • Preparing samples with appropriate identification and information for customers and keeping commercial clients with showrooms stocked with latest Company information/samples etc
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
